Tailwaters Fly Fishing Frequently Asked Questions
When and how will my order be delivered?
Expedited shipping is available upon request at checkout. The online store ships to the US only, this does include Alaska and Hawaii.
For international orders please contact them at [email protected] and the shop will do its best to fulfill your needs.
All online orders will be processed within 1-2 business days, and items will ship during days, Monday through Friday by 4:00 pm CST.
If an order needs to be shipped out the day the order is placed, please call the shop at 214-219-2500 and one of their team members will process the order over the phone.
What are the conditions for returns?
All return items must be in original packaging and completely unused and unworn.
Management reserves the right to refuse returns if items are not in a condition to be resold.
Receipt of payment is acknowledgment that the customer has read and accepts the refund policy.
Package and return any regularly stocked merchandise to us within 30 days for a full refund, credit, or exchange. Returns between 31 and 90 days receive store credit. No returns after 90 days.
All sale, clearance, and special order items may not be returned for any reason other than being defective.
Do they offer repair service?
Yes. Their repair program is a service that they provide to better help their customers.
It is not, however, a service they generate revenue from, they only wish to break even.
Tailwaters pricing for repairs will vary for every brand and will align with the pricing of the manufacturer plus a small shipping fee.
Their repair fee is not set in stone and can change if the manufacturer’s price or the cost of shipping changes. Depending on the model and/or age of a product, the repair price can vary with each manufacturer.
Tailwaters is not responsible if repair item has not been received in the allotted time of a manufacturer’s return policy.
What is the shipping policy for special orders?
No Rush Special Orders of items in their usual assortment - $0.
No Rush Special Orders of items NOT in their usual assortment - $15.
Expedited Delivery (4-7 Days) $40.
Overnight Delivery (1-3 Days) $100.
Prepayment is required on all special orders. All non-assortment special orders placed in-store will be charged the appropriate shipping fee outlined above per the customer’s request.
Tailwaters Fly Fishing Company will collect your billing information and charge once the order is placed.
They will strive to expedite your order, but they cannot guarantee the vendor will pull and ship your order the day it is placed.
