Is insurance included the basic price?
Rates displayed on the U.S. website do not include insurance. U.S residents can purchase Rental Car Protection during checkout. As a US citizen, you can purchase Rental Car Protection provided by Travel Guard AIG through CarRentals.com at checkout since it's not included in the base rental car rate. When reserving a car rental in some international locations such as Mexico, you must buy additional local insurance. You may also add Rental Car Protection to an existing CarRentals reservation online.
