How can I check on the status of an order?

• You can check on the status of an order, as well as view all past orders, by logging into your account and hovering on your account name in the upper right-hand corner (next to the purple shopping cart icon). 

• Select Order History from the dropdown that appears. Click on the hyperlinked order number to view more details about the order.

Can I print a receipt for my books?

If you need to print a receipt for a purchase, simply log into your account, and select Order History from the dropdown that appears when you hover on your account name. Click on your hyperlinked order number. Next, select Click to open a window with a printable invoice.

How do I create an account?

• To create a new account, click on the Sign In button at the top right of the screen. Click on Create an Account, and fill out the pertinent information. Username and Email address are required.

•  Please do not enter your email address as your user name.

• Enter the answer to the math question captcha.Click on Create new account to submit your information. 

• Your account is now created.A confirmation email will be sent to the address you entered above with more instructions on how to log in.

What is a captcha and why do I need to enter it?

The captcha tells their system that you are a human making changes to an account and not an automated program. This helps prevent spamming and hacking.

How do I sign up to receive author alerts?

• Log in using your existing BookStrand.com account.

• Search for an author in the search box in the upper left hand corner of the screen, or visit an author page by clicking on their hyperlinked name. 

• This will take you to the author’s page on BookStrand.com.

• Next to the author’s name, you will see a button labeled Follow. Click on it.A screen will appear to let you know that you have subscribed to receive alerts for this author. 

• The next time a book by this author is put up on the site, you will receive an email with a link to view the book and pre-order or purchase a copy.

How do I add a title to My Wishlist?

• First, find the title you would like to add. You can locate a title using the Search feature in the top left-hand corner, or you can search by subject matter using the categories on the left side of the screen.

• When you have located a book that you would like to save for later purchase, click on the gray Wish List button to add it to your list.The book is now added to your wishlist.
