Can I cancel the return flight segment?
If you have an onward or return flight segment in your booking and you miss the first flight on that booking, they will cancel the rest of your booking unless you call Scoot within 48 hours of the missed flight Call Center. If you fail to do so, they will not be liable for any loss you may suffer as a result. They strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance throughout your trip.
Can I cancel my ticket and get a refund?
Their tickets are non-cancellable or refundable except for the following reasons:
For medical reasons or compassionate reasons (such as the death of a passenger or immediate family member), please submit supporting documents through their web form. These documents include, but are not limited to, medical certificates, death certificates and/or relationship certificates that clearly state that the guest is unfit to travel.
After receiving supporting documents, they will review your refund request. If eligible, they will process your refund in the form of a Scoot Travel Voucher (non-transferable).
Can I cancel an entire group booking?
It depends on which stage the group booked is in:
The entire group booking can be cancelled with no additional penalty until the deposit is paid.
After the deposit is paid, it can be cancelled and 20% of the deposit will be refunded. The refunded deposit will be transferred to the broker's account for payment of future bookings. 20% is calculated based on the number of passengers. Cancellation requests must be sent to [email protected] 30 days before the first flight.
After the full payment is made, no cancellations or refunds are allowed.
What are the benefits of group bookings?
Group fares already include 20kg of checked luggage and standard seat assignments.
No additional booking fee is required.
Full payment is not required immediately (for groups more than 30 days from the first flight).
Team lists only need to be submitted 7 days before departure.
There is no additional charge for name changes up to 48 hours before your first flight.
