Why is shipping so high?

Their plants tend to be larger than their competitors and so require larger boxes for shipping. Another reason, is the heavier weight of shipping plants with soil and some water. They truly believe that by avoiding bare-rooting, you will receive a much happier and healthier plant. One that will transplant better and grow far better in the long run.

Are plants shipped year round?

That depends on the weather. tThey do ship year round to the warmer western and southern states. In winter, they have a special southern route that allows them to ship to the east coast and south via ground shipping while avoiding the freezing northern states. In the heat of summer the only shipping they can provide to the east coast is via Air. If you have any questions please feel free to call them at 541-846-7269.

What is your cancellation policy?

They understand that sometimes plans change and they will cancel an order at any time until it ships. However, large orders that have already been ‘pulled’ and are then canceled will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Which kind of treatments can I enjoy?

• A Bit of “LEGALESE”: tThey reserve the right to refuse service to anyone (this will likely only be in the case of non-payment). Should payment take longer than 30 days, a service charge of 1.5% per month (18% annually) may be added to the unpaid balance.

What can I learn about shipping charges?

• Every year, UPS imposes substantial increases in their charges PLUS additional fuel surcharges AND numerous small extra charges (for everything from rural delivery to extra handling on larger boxes). 

• They have mostly absorbed these increases. tThey try HARD to keep their shipping charges as low as possible.Please see the shipping-rate charts for Tubes, Size1 (1-gallons), or Size5 (5-gallons) (by East and tTheyst ZIPs). These rates are as close as they can come to their actual cost for shipping and packing...they're sorry if they seem high. 

What can I know about shipping methods?

• Please indicate your choice of shipping method on the order form.For ground, they'll use UPS.For Air, they use UPS Select (3-day; 2-day service costs extra).tThey're no longer able to ship via FedEx, except by special arrangement. 

• If you only give them a PO Box, they'll have to ship by Priority Mail (Air rates). Parcel Post is no longer feasible. Out of the country; call for special rates:Alaska. USPS Priority Mail; at cost.Hawaii. UPS (2-day), at cost - inquire (no Post Office)
