What is the warranty period of European countyries?

• IRIS Warranty Service (IWS) is, by default, valid for two (2) years for European Economic Area (“EEA”) plus Switzerland and, as from Jan 1st 2021, United Kingdom.

• IRIS Warranty System (IWS)  is, by default, valid for one (1) year for Africa, Asia, Canada, Latin America, Middle East and USA, from the date of purchase by the end-user as evidenced by a valid proof of purchase.

• In case of direct purchase of IRIS scanner product on Canon Web Store, the IWS period validity is also valid for two (2) years for Russia, Turkey and United Arab Emirates.

When shall I receive my refund?

Refunds are usually processed within 5 to maximum 30 business days after receiving the product or destruction letter duly signed. Refund, if eligible, will be always processed with the same payment method used for the purchase of the product (credit card, PayPal or bank transfer). In case customer purchased products from Canon Online Store or Channel’s IRIS partners or Retailer stores or other eCommerce website or Corporate Resellers (BtoB partner), IRIS will not be authorized to refund products directly to customer.

What's 30 days money back guarantee?

IRIS extends a 30 days money back guarantee for any products purchased on the IRIS's e-shop. The refund process is straightforward and designed to expedite the refund of the product(s) you purchased from IRIS. In order to be eligible for a refund, you are required to follow the RMA (Return Material Authorization) process. 

• "30 days" means 30 calendar days calculated from the date you received your product(s) as long as proof of delivery is available and provided to IRIS upon request, or from Invoice date, if proof of delivery is not available or not provided to IRIS upon request.

• To engage the refund process, fill in the form for products you are seeking reimbursement.

Who should be responsible for taxes?

For purposes of calculating value-added tax, sales tax, the ship-to location shall govern. You are responsible for any customs, brokerage, additional assessments or any other fees payable upon import of the products into your country. Because these duties and fees can vary and change over time, they recommend that you check on such duties or other fees before placing your order. Should you refuse delivery of the products, you will be responsible for the return freight charges to them.
