What can I do if the product needs to be repaired?

• Your best option is to contact the reseller, who can perhaps make the repair for you. 

• Because Herman Miller can’t guarantee the condition or authenticity of the components used by unauthorized resellers, these products wouldn’t be covered by Herman Miller’s warranty. Buying from an authorized Herman Miller reseller gives you two advantages. First is authenticity. 

• If the product comes from an authorized reseller, you can be certain it’s the real thing. Second is warranty. Herman Miller and its authorized resellers stand behind every Herman Miller product and have the ability to make repairs, if needed.

What can I learn about the shipping methods?

• Shipping methods for your purchases are determined by types of items ordered. Smaller items tend to ship FedEx, some furniture ships with Threshold delivery, and the remainder ships with full-service In-Home Delivery. 

• If your order includes an item being shipped via multiple methods, FedEx charges for items shipped outside the contiguous U.S. and Canada are appended to any applicable Threshold or In-Home charges. 

• Your cart will reflect the delivery options available for your order. Select office and gaming seating ships free within the contiguous U.S. and Canada, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. How can I return an item?

• Returns must be received in original condition within 30 days of receipt or date of purchase, whichever is later. Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable. 

• Returns are accepted only at their warehouse, except for accessories, which may be returned to your local store. Your refund will be reduced by a restocking charge equal to 10% of the total purchase price not to exceed $500 per item. 

• Restocking fee is waived for returns of accessories*, lighting, and Herman Miller branded performance seating. Exclusion of accessories: mirrors, fine arts, rugs, firepits and outdoor planters.Preconfigured office bundles cannot be partially returned. 

• If you’re dissatisfied with your bundle, you may return it in whole within 30 days of receipt or date of purchase, whichever is later. Standard restocking fees apply.

What if I need to cancel my order?

They can accept cancellation of your order for items that have not yet shipped or are on backorder. In-stock items normally ship within 24–48 hours after an order has been placed. Once an item has shipped, cancellation is not possible.If you order by credit card, your card will be charged as each item is shipped. Custom and special order items cannot be cancelled.
