How much does an Au Pair program cost?

When using an Au Pair to find an Au Pair in the U.S., the program fee includes: a one-time match processing fee (for new or reactivated host families) or a $475 program fee deposit (for repeat host families), the program fee, and payment directly to you Weekly allowance for Au Pair. If the idea of live-in child care sounds like the solution for your family, the US Au Pair program fees are based on the 12-month program duration and the program option you choose. Fees and au pair wages are calculated per family, not per child. 

What is not included in the program fee?

Au Pair Education Allowance up to $500 for Au Pair and Extraordinary Programs; up to $1,000 for Educare. The US government required SEVIS fee of $35 is charged for each Au Pair arriving in your home unless the Au Pair is transferred from one household to yours.

I want to travel outside the US, what are the requirements?

Before you travel outside the U.S. for the year, you must send your DS2019 and travel request form to the Connecticut office for a travel verification signature. Once the form is signed once, there is no need to send it again. One signature is valid all year. If you plan to travel outside the United States, be sure to check with the consulate of the country you plan to visit at least one month before travel to find out if you need a visitor visa or a transit visa to stay-end.
