Will my Kindle work with your ebooks?
- The ebooks sold by eBooks.com have Adobe DRM applied to them. This means they are not compatible with most Kindle devices as Amazon use their own bespoke DRM and format. In essence they have created a closed platform.
- However, you can read your eBooks.com ebooks on your Kindle Fire, Fire HD, or HDX by side loading our Ebook Reader app.
- If you are not sure which version of Kindle you own, or which 'generation' as they are referred to, please check the serial number.
- The serial number is a 16 digit code that is displayed on the box that your Kindle was packaged in. Or you can find it by powering on your Kindle and going to 'Settings' then 'Device Info'.
What if my ebook is showing the text for a completely different ebook?
- This is a file mixup. Normally caused when a publisher submits the wrong ebook file under your ebook's ISBN.
- Please complete their support form to submit a ticket to their customer support. Please state which of your ebooks is experiencing the issue and they will check all formats of the ebook then contact the publisher to request the replacement file(s). They will then inform you when the replacement has been received.
Once I have purchased my ebook, will it always be available?
- Yes, once you have purchased the ebook it is yours. The title is stored on your eBooks.com account and you can access it at any time by logging in with your username and password.
- Most formats allow you to download the title as many times as you like however, they do put a limit on the downloads to prevent abuse of the system.
- If you need to download your ebook again and you are receiving an error message indicating that you have used all of your licenses, please contact their support team who will be happy to reset this license for you.
