The width and height the the EZ Lift bed is the same for both models. The difference is in the length. A standard twin is 74″ long. A twin XL is 80″ long. For people under 5’11” they recommend the twin bed. For people 6′ and taller, they recommend the twin XL.

Can I use a mattress protector?

Yes. A mattress protector can be used, as can fitted sheets. Make sure they are designed for a 6″ thick mattress.
