How do they work?
At the start of each week, they send you an email letting you know what their farmers are harvesting for this week's Farmbox. You can then go into your account and customize your Farmbox, replacing up to 5 per Farmbox. You can then add handcrafted items and other grocery items they offer to be delivered with your Farmbox. Deadline is Tuesday at 12pm EST to skip or cancel orders for the next week. The deadline for Ito to replace your order is Thursday at 10:00 AM EST. They then deliver your Farmbox to your door in eco-friendly packaging! Be sure to recycle your boxes and packing materials.
How do they deliver?
They use FedEx for their delivery needs and provide tracking information to all customers. Unfortunately, they cannot deliver to PO Boxes. They use biodegradable insulation and ice packs to keep your case at the perfect temperature and ensure safe delivery.
Do they have discounts?
Discounts, promo codes (Groupon, Gilt City, etc.) or flash sales of any kind are only available for new customers, not prepaid boxes. All repeat customer promotions can only be applied if a box is ordered within 3 weeks of the promotion. Damaged, delayed or missing items are only available for Farmbox Direct account credit for your next purchase.
What is the delivery time like?
They deliver to different zip codes on different days. Please enter your zip code for your delivery date. Once the box leaves them, it's in FedEx's hands. Your credit card will be charged on Thursday at 10AM EST. They have a deadline because they have to tell their farmers what they need to order for each delivery. Don't worry, if you miss this week's order deadline, you can still create an account and sign up for delivery for next week's harvest!
