Can I bring infant food onto the aircraft?
Yes. TAP allows you to bring infant food in your hand luggage, but only for consumption during the flight. Please note that you must comply with restrictions related to carrying liquids.
What are the rules regarding pushchairs?
Your baby can remain in the pushchair until reaching the door of the aircraft.After that, TAP will take care of it, keeping it in the hold.It will be waiting for your baby when you reach your destination.
I will be travelling with a child. What should I be aware of?
TAP has not forgotten the little ones, and ensures special conditions for those travelling with children:
A baby up to 2 years old can travel sitting on an adult's lap;
A child between 2 and 12 years old (inclusive) must book a seat.
How does the group travel program work?
Planning a group trip has never been so easy.
Ask for a budget for up to 40 passengers and at least 21 days before the intended travel date. Please be aware that the group must contain at least 10 passengers, of whom:
As a minimum 2 of the passengers must be adults;
Passengers are considered to be adults and children (age 2 - 12), or if travelling with infants (less than 2 years old) the total number of passengers must always be more than 10;
Each adult can travel with 4 children or with one child and one infant.
What's the group travel benefits?
Each passenger in the group can travel with a hold bag (up to 23 kg) as well as hand luggage (up to 8 kg);
A standard seat can be booked without any additional costs;
Alteration of flights without penalties, subject to availability and confirmation until the time the tickets are issued;
The passenger names can be changed without penalties until the time the tickets are issued.
Can I get compensation?
For cancellations and delays exceeding 3 hours, they will pay you compensation in accordance with EU regulations, if the disruption has not been caused by extraordinary circumstances:
delays/cancellations with a waiting time of 2 hours or more, for flights up to 1.500 km;
delays/cancellations with a waiting time of 3 hours or more, for flights from 1.500 to 3.500 km;
delays/cancellations with a waiting time of 4 hours or more, for all flights exceeding 3.500 km.
What's the compensation methods?
Cash - as per the amount determined by EU regulations, depending on the delay time and the number of kilometers, or the waiting time until the alternative flight that has been offered;
Voucher - with a 50% bonus on the amount determined by law.
What's the non refundable expenses?
They will not reimburse any expenses deemed unreasonable;
They will not reimburse any expenses upon arrival at the destination, such as hotel accommodation, transport, etc.
They will not refund any hotel accommodation expenses if your flight has been canceled at your trip's departure city.
How to get refund?
To request a refund for your expenses, please provide:
The names of all passengers included in the request;
Detailed information on all canceled/delayed flights included in your trip (including ticket number, date, departure and destination airports, flight number, and airline operating the flight);
Hotel accommodation and communication invoices;
Your bank account details, so that they can process your refund.
