Will my perishables survive transit?

• They vacuum seal most of their cheeses, then pack them with freeze packs to keep them cold inside a sealed insulated container. Based on National Weather Service forecasts, they include what they deem to be a sufficient quantity of freeze packs to maintain temperature. If necessary, they also include a position a piece of dry ice behind the freeze packs to keep them frozen longer. 

• They schedule your shipment to avoid your package sitting in a shipper's warehouse over the weekend; so if you order on Friday, they will typically hold your order until Monday so it does not spend Saturday and Sunday in an unrefrigerated warehouse.

When will my subscription box be delivered?

Your first box will ship within 1-3 business days of placing your order. Subsequent boxes will ship around the middle of the month for arrival between the 16th - 25th. If you haven't received your box by the 26th, please feel free to follow up with them at [email protected].

Can I delay the shipment of my order?

Yes. For your convenience, you can choose a specific delivery date (from an available range) via the "shop now, ship later" option in your cart.

Does igourmet.com ship to APO/FPO Addresses?

They can only ship non-perishable items to APO/FPO addresses. As these areas are served by the U.S. Postal Service and an exact delivery date is not guaranteed, shipping perishable items risks the chance of spoilage.

Can I make a return at igourmet.com?

• Any item/s that you deem unsatisfactory due to a shipping-related issue will be replaced or refunded upon your request, without hassle, when you alert them to the details of the problem within 7 business days of having received your order.

• Please note: Items must meet the conditions outlined below.

• Perishables & Frozen Items. Assuming ambient delivery location temperatures of below 95 degrees Fahrenheit, they guarantee that any perishable and/or frozen product you receive from igourmet will be of high quality and in top physical condition. Claims made on orders of perishable / frozen products when temperatures are above 95 degrees Fahrenheit are handled on a case-by-case basis.

• Shelf-Stable (non-perishable) Items. They guarantee that any non-perishable product you receive from igourmet will be of high quality and in top physical condition (without any temperature constraint).

This is a gift; does igourmet.com include prices on your packing slip?

No, the packing slip only includes a list of what products are in the package, the address they are shipping to, and who the gift is from. No prices are included in your package’s shipment.

Does igourmet.com ship to APO and other US Military locations?

Yes. They do ship to APO addresses through US Priority Mail. They cannot send any products that ship direct from their producers (drop ship items). Drop ship items include their cheesecakes, steaks and other raw meats, some caviars, and fresh poultry. Please do not send pâtés, bacon, and highly perishable cheeses such as brie and blue cheeses to APOs, as theses sensitive items will not survive extended transit times.
