Lensfactory Frequently Asked Questions
Do they have a prescription guarantee?
They guarantee that all prescriptions are 100% accurate or will be recreated for free. All prescription glasses pass strict quality control inspections. Lenses are checked five times to ensure accuracy. They are proud of their craftsmanship.
What is their return policy?
They only make these lenses for you, so if you change your mind, they can't sell them to someone else. If you decide you need a different option or coating, they have to rebuild the entire lens from scratch. If the lenses match the prescription they received from you and the edges are correct, you should like them. If they make a mistake, they will try to correct it. If you need to return it, please email them to get a return authorization number. They don't want your frame to be lost, so they need this number on the outside of the package so they can make sure it's going to the right place. If you decide not to, they'll have the kind postman return it to you so you can try to do it right again.
Does Lens Factory accept insurance?
Unfortunately, they cannot accept insurance for your replacement lenses. Some insurance companies may reimburse you for your lenses. When your glasses are shipped to you, you will be given a receipt for filing your own insurance claim. Please review your personal policy for requirements and restrictions.
Can I buy a drugstore frame and attach the lenses?
Most low-cost readers found in drugstores and supermarkets have cost as their primary goal. Therefore, there are no screws in the frame to remove and reinsert the lenses, and are usually glued in place. Unfortunately, most of the time they can't re-frame the pharmacy.
Is my frame safe?
Absolutely! If your frame is damaged during refilling, they will replace it with a similar model free of charge unless there is a mailing accident (for which they cannot be held responsible). If your frame is unique or has a special meaning associated with it, please contact them to make sure they can take your order.
