What are premium nTLDs?
Premium nTLDs are nTLD domains that the sponsoring registry has determined should be sold at a higher price than other domains using the same TLD. Registries use their own criteria to determine which domains should be "premium" for each TLD. Further, in many cases, registries have setup different tiers of premium domains for each TLD. The different tiers each have their own pricing.
Should I register a premium nTLD?
They get asked this question a lot. Unfortunately, they cannot answer if the price and uncertainty of a premium nTLD makes sense for you. their only piece of advice is to make sure you understand the renewal policies covered above. If you have found the perfect domain for your personal use, business or other, then the increased price and uncertainty regarding future renewal pricing may still be worth it.
How do I sign up to be a reseller?
There is no special sign up required. Simply create a new account on their web site and then visit the Reseller Manager page. You will be required to accept their reseller terms and conditions. Once you do so, you are then set up as a reseller.
If there is no special pricing, how can I make money?
Their regular pricing is already among the lowest in the market. They also never charge for any add-ons such as Whois Privacy, email forwarding, etc. Also, as you add more domains to your account, you will qualify for even lower pricing when using their Discount Program. The combination of their already-low pricing as well as free add-ons leaves room for virtually any reseller to sell domains at a good price and still make money.
When will my transfer finish?
The Transfer Manager displays the status of all of your incoming domain transfers. Transferring domains between registrars is a strictly regulated process that can undergo various paths before the transfer is completed. It is their goal to provide as much information as possible to keep you up-to-date on the status of your transfers.
What if I can't check the administrative contact authorization email?
The Administrative contact fails to act within the requisite time.
The Administrative contact rejected the transfer request but will approve other future requests.
You have updated the Administrative contact associated with your domain at your current registrar.
Where do I enter/change the EPP authorization code?
Transferring domains from a different registrar requires that you provide the authorization code for that domain. The authorization code can only be retrieved from the current registrar on record and there is usually a simple process that you can ask them about to easily access it. If you did not provide the authorization code at the time of your transfer request order, or if the authorization code you provided is not correct, a link will appear allowing you to enter or change it in the transfer manager page.
