What payment methods does Poshmark accept?

Poshmark accepts the following payment: Credit or Debit Cards, Affirm, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo.

How is sales tax calculated?

State and local sales tax, when applicable, will be charged on items purchased on Poshmark that are shipped to a U.S. address. The amount of sales tax charged on an order is based on a number of factors including, but not limited to: Type of item purchased, Buyer’s delivery address, Seller’s return address, Shipping costs.

Can I trust buying and selling on Poshmark?

• They want you to feel secure when buying or selling on Poshmark!

• You are protected every time you place an order on Poshmark with Posh Protect. When you purchase an item on Poshmark, they keep your payment safe until you tell them you've received your order. 

• If your item does not match the description, please open a case from the app or website within 3 days of delivery, before their system marks the order as received. 

How long does the return process take?

• A return request can typically take their team 1-2 business days to process. Please note that the length of time to review a case can vary depending on the proof they have on hand, as well as the response time it takes for a buyer or a seller to get back to them. 

• Once a case has been submitted, Poshmark will work with both parties to facilitate the return. In order to speed up the process, they ask that both parties provide clear evidence of their claim.

• When they have proof that the item was misrepresented, they will send the buyer a prepaid return label and have them ship the item back to the seller. Once the order is delivered back to the seller, they will begin to process the buyer’s refund for he full amount they paid, including shipping and taxes that were charged for the purchase.

How to upgrade a shipping label if a package weighs over 5 pounds?

• If your package is over 5 pounds, you will need to generate a new shipping label. Per the table below, labels for packages over 5 pounds will incur a label upgrade fee, which will be deducted from the seller’s earnings/ credits. 

• Select your profile picture at the top right of the page.

• Select My Sales and select the relevant order.

• Select New Shipping Label.

• From the dropdown menu, select Need Heavier Weight Label.

• Please make sure you select the total weight of your package so that a shipping label with the correct weight can be generated and sent to you.
