How should I wash my ANSI garments?
Careful handling of garments can extend the life of ANSI garments. Do not dry clean. You can machine wash your laundry gently in cold or lukewarm water using traditional laundry detergent. Fabric softeners and bleaches can block wicking and breathability, and damage garments. Turning the garment inside out will prolong the life of the reflective strips. The best drying method is wire drying.
What is their return policy?
Their clothing is ANSI-compliant safety clothing. They are designed to save lives by maintaining their visibility enhancing properties. The effectiveness and compliance of these safety features can be significantly affected by seemingly mundane handling, including incorrect washing. For this reason, they do not accept returns for clothing that is worn, washed, modified, customized, personalised or branded. Do not remove the label unless you want to keep the garment. A removed label is an indicator of wear. Merchandise authorized exchanges due to customer error can be done with customer prepaid shipping. Reflective Apparel wants you to love your safety apparel. They offer a 100% guarantee that the product is free from manufacturing defects. They pride themselves on shipping high-quality merchandise, but mistakes do happen. They will gladly replace or refund any apparent manufacturing defect.
What is their shipping policy?
Reflective Apparel strives to ship all in-stock non-personalized orders within 24 hours of purchase. The company is open Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Items with personalization (such as adding an X back or logo) will follow the production schedule. Please contact the RA for specific information. All shipments are FOB factory unless otherwise stated. Ships via UPS unless otherwise arranged with RA. Overnight and expedited shipping options are available for an additional fee. Reflective Apparel reserves the right to determine if the shipping fee or portion of the shipping fee cannot be refunded because the customer has opted for expedited shipping. Shipping time does not include production time for personalized orders.
What types of retroreflective materials are available?
The reflective materials used generally fall into two categories - open cell/glass beads, or closed cell/prism products. On apparel, open cell/glass bead products are the most common. An example is the 3M Scotchlite material. Glass beads are actually very small pieces of glass trapped in the adhesive layer.
