SportRx Frequently Asked Questions
What is Accident Protection?
Accident Protection is additional coverage that you have the option of purchasing at the time of your new glasses or goggles purchase. They’ve partnered with Extend Protection Plans to offer Accident Protection on our full range of SportRx products.
What is a PD?
Pupillary distance (PD) is the distance between the centers of each eye. Your pupillary distance is an important piece of information when buying prescription glasses. If this measurement is not on current your prescription, just call the last place that performed your eye exam or let them measure it for you!
When you order your frames, they'll contact you with simple instructions so they can measure your PD without you having to come into the store. It'll be that easy.
Can I use my FSA to buy glasses?
Yes! FSA plans cover eyeglasses and sunglasses with prescription lenses. Many FSA plans also cover Readers. For more information on what is eligible for purchase under your FSA plan, it’s best to contact your FSA or benefits administrator.
They accept FSA cards that have the Visa or Mastercard logo. They can also provide an itemized invoice of your purchase for FSA reimbursement. Some FSAs might need specific details on your itemized invoice to process your reimbursement.
How do I add an Accident Protection plan to my glasses or goggles?
Once you’ve added your glasses or goggles to your cart, you’ll see an option to add an Accident Protection plan for each item that is eligible for coverage. From there, you can select either one year or two years of coverage.
I’m supposed to buy ANSI-certified safety glasses. What does this mean?
ANSI-certified glasses are safety glasses that are approved under ANSI (American National Standards Institute) regulations. ANSI eyewear is classified and noted by the Z87 marking on the inside of the frame
I’ve returned my glasses for a refund. When can I expect to see my card credited?
Once they receive your returned order, it takes them about 1-2 days to process it through their receiving and returns department and issue the refund to your original method of payment.
From there, it can take approximately from 3-5 days for the refund to reflect in your account, based on your bank or credit card company.
