How do I check the status of my order?
Please visit their order status page to get the status of your order. Results will show your order status both prior to shipment and also provides tracking information after your order ships.
To use their online tracking utility you will need your order number ( begins with a "M" or "Y" ) that is located in the order confirmation email sent to the email address provided during checkout.
You will also be sent an email containing tracking information when your order ships. Please note that your order may contain one or more tracking numbers depending on the amount and type of items ordered.
Why hasn't my order been processed yet?
Orders placed after 3pm EST may not show as being processed until the next business day. Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days but they do their best to get your order out as quickly as possible.
Which shipping carriers does Tools-Plus use?
Depending on current shipping rates USPS, UPS or SurePost may be used to ship your order. If you are aware that the shipping address you provided only utilizes a certain shipping carrier, please add that in the "Comments" area during checkout to avoid delays in your shipment.
What should I do if I receive defective items?
If you receive an item that is defective, please contact their Customer Service Department within 30 days of delivery. Tools Plus will issue you a Return Authorization that must be included on the returned package. Once Tools Plus receives the defective item , they will ship you a replacement product or issue you a full credit or refund for your purchase (whichever you decide).
What about truck freight?
They also provide Free Shipping & Free Lift Gate Service on all regularly stocked products over 150 lbs. via Truck Freight within the contiguous 48 U.S states. This includes products such as: large air compressors, generators, pressure washers, machinery etc.
Lift gate service means the freight is simply lowered to the ground. It is the customer's responsibility to move it from there. Tools Plus recommends adding lift gate service for freight deliveries if you do not have a loading dock or forklift at the delivery address. Arrangement for a lift gate delivery may involve an extra day or two shipping time.
Any shipments over 1500 lbs. might damage a lift gate and therefore will require the customer to have a forklift with a loading dock to unload (please consider this prior to scheduling delivery).
I can't find a tool I'm looking for, can Tools-Plus get it?
Send an email with a product that you'd like to purchase. They may be in process of stocking the product you're interested in and they will let you know.
Please note: At this time they do not accept special orders for online purchases. Special orders are orders for products or brands that they do not have listed on their website and do not currently stock.With that being said, they do love product suggestions from customers like you.
