Your UpSmiles dentist/orthodontist will review and share your customized treatment plan with you after reviewing your dental impression.
They'll refund the cost of the impression kit if you're not a candidate, and there is no obligation or commitment to move forward if you are deemed a candidate.
How do I know if I am suitable for treatment?
After you send in your No-Risk Impression Kit your doctor/orthodontist will review your impressions to verify that you’re a candidate for treatment.
UpSmiles treats mild to moderate cases. Patients that are not a candidate for aligners will be referred to an UpSmiles Dentist in your area.
They are able to treat most patients/conditions, but they’ll refund the cost of the impression kit should you not be a candidate. They need to review your impressions, photos, and questionnaire to make this determination.
What if I have dental problems before starting treatment?
Each candidate must confirm that they have visited their regular dentist within the past 6 months, and they will continue to see their regular dentist during treatment. This is to avoid any complications for starting the treatment.
Any contra-indications will be reviewed by the doctor before approving the candidate for treatment. Ideal candidates must sign a consent form prior to beginning treatment.
