Autopia Car Care Frequently Asked Questions
Who pays for return shipping costs?
Autopia Car Care covers return shipping costs if the return is due to a manufacturing defect or as a result of their error.
They will provide you with a pre-paid label to return the product(s) to them in this situation.
Items returned for reasons other than defect or Autopia Car Care error will not be provided with a pre-paid return label. These returns include reasons such as "changed my mind," "did not like the product" and "ordered the incorrect product".
What if I want to exchange an item?
Please call them at 877-855-3125 and let them know that you will be returning an item and what item you would like instead.
They will assign a Return Authorization Number, which must be written on the outside of the package.
Upon their receipt of the returned item, they will ship out the new item.
You will be credited or charged the price difference, less shipping, to the original form of payment.
How to start a return?
To return an item, call them toll free at 877-855-3125 to receive a Return Authorization Number and instructions. Write this number on the outside of the package. Products returned without authorization will not be accepted.
The cost of the returned items, minus shipping charges, will be promptly credited via the payment method used. It may take 5-7 days for your bank to process the credit.
What are the non-returnable items?
Custom-made items cannot be returned. These items are made for your specific vehicle. Custom items are noted as such on the product page. They can only accept returns on custom items in the event of a manufacturer error.
Covercraft: Per Covercraft, they cannot accept returns on the following car cover fabrics: Form Fit, WeatherShield HP, WeatherShield HD, and Sunbrella.
- Electronics: Returned electronics (including buffers, battery tenders, tire gauges, vacuums, and blowers) are subject to a 20% restocking fee if product has been used or opened. There is no restocking fee for a defective product returned in exchange for the same product.
- Garage Mats: Per the manufacturers, a 15% restocking fee will be charged on all returned garage flooring/mats. A 15% restocking fee will also be charged on all returned Tornador Car Cleaning Tools.
Hot water extractors are non-returnable.
