What size is your Micro, Small, Large ....?
They're constantly working to bring you more relevant context images. The size of each animal varies, however, the following guidelines can be used:
Micro: Ranging from 4-9 inches tall & wide
Small: Ranging from 7-18 inches tall & wide
Large: Ranging from 16-34 inches tall & wide
Giant: The biggest! Ranging from 3-5 feet tall and wide

Can I paint it?
Yes! Of course you can! It's best to do so before assembling your product. If it is already assembled you can also easily take it apart and re-assemble after painting. They suggest acrylic based spray paint for the best results. Use thin coats and allow each coat to dry completely before re-coating. Due to the laser cut precision of their product, use care to not apply more paint than necessary as too much paint can prevent the product from fitting together. Be sure to test the paint on a small piece of cardboard first, and as always, do any painting outside or in a well ventilated area. Finally, once your customization is complete, be sure to send them a picture!
