What the five-year warranty does not cover?

• Damage, accidental or otherwise, to the watch while in the possession of a consumer not caused by a defect in material or workmanship.
• Damage caused by accident, misuse, tampering with or failure to follow the care and special handling provisions in the Instructions.
• Amage and/or scratches to the finish of the case, crystal, bracelet, strap or other components caused by wear or accident.
• Moisture damage to a watch not marked ‘water resistant’ on the case back or damage from moisture in ‘water resistant’ models that is a result of opening the watch, broken or damaged components.
• Damage caused by the consumer's failure to have the watch serviced at the consumer's expense in accordance with the following schedule of regular maintenance.

How do I send my watch in for repairs?

If you live in the United States, and your watch needs service, please send your Citizen timepiece to their Torrance, CA facility following the instructions below.

• 1. Package your timepiece in a sturdy container with sufficient padding to protect your watch during transit. All shipping containers and packing materials are discarded upon receipt, so please do not include any containers and/or materials you wish returned.
• 2. Complete a repair submission form, and be sure to include your daytime telephone number, email address and a detailed description of the problem. If possible, please also include the serial number which can be found on the case back of your watch. 
• 3. Address your package and send via insured carrier to:COA;Attn: Customer Service;1000 W 190th St;Dept R;Torrance, CA 90502-1040
• 4. If you submit your repair within your warranty period, please be sure to include your completed warranty card or proof of purchase detailing the date and model. For out-of-warranty work, or for work not covered by the warranty, an estimate detailing such costs will be sent to you prior to proceeding with the repair.
