Does Brathwait's watch come with a warranty?
Your watch is covered by their twelve month international warranty against any defects in manufacturing; this includes the watch movement, indexes, dial, and hands.
In other words, if the watch parts or mechanics don't work properly, and it's their fault, they will repair or replace your product for free.
However, this does not cover any abuse or physical damage inflicted on the watch. The warranty does not cover water damage, normal wear and tear, batteries, accidental glass damage, scratches, strap damage, or theft. Please note that leather straps are not waterproof although the watch is water resistant to 100 meters.
If the product is returned during the warranty period, Brathwait will repair or replace any defective watch or watch-part, at no additional expense, within a reasonable time, after the product is returned. However, the customer may be subject to the costs of shipping the product.
Can I make a return or exchange at Brathwait?
Yes, they offer a see-before-you-keep policy. If you decide to return or exchange your unworn item within 30 days of delivery, please use their return and exchange portal found to process your return or exchange. After they receive your return, your funds will be released within 5-10 days. Express shipping and customs tariffs are not refundable.
How do I clean my watch?
To clean the case and crystal:
Moisten a soft cloth with hot water. Gently wipe the case and crystal clean. Be careful not to put too much stress on the crystal as you clean. Avoid immersing or soaking the case of the watch regardless of water resistance to not soak the leather band.
Remove the watch when working with chemicals, using hand sanitiser or paint remover as it may cause damage to the coating and make it oxidate.
To clean the band or strap:
Mesh: Dip a cotton swab in hot water and gently rub it on the unclean area of the band. You may want to use a soft bristle toothbrush or nailbrush. Be sure to cover the case of the watch during this process so as not to soak it.
Do not use soap products, soap will leave residue behind when dry.
Leather: Simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth, using water only.
You may want to use leather conditioner or a small amount of hand lotion to keep the leather supple over time.
