These rules are subject to change at any time. Unless otherwise stated, the rules in effect at the time of your travel or claim or other transaction govern that transaction. 

• Under the skyMiles Mileage expiration, miles do not expire. Delta reserves the right to deactivate or close an account in the following circumstances: A member requests account closure. One member died. A member does not respond to repeated attempts to communicate the status of their account. 

Do I need to update my name, date of birth or gender?

• An update of your name, date of birth and gender requires a copy of the relevant legal documents.

• If you wish to change your name, please send them a copy of the court documents (court order, marriage certificate, divorce certificate, etc.) as well as in case you wish to change it.

• For any change of date of birth or gender, please send a copy of your ID (driver's license, passport, etc.) and a change request.

• The name on your Skymiles account must match the name on the legal identification document that you will use for the trip.

Should I to change my primary address or mailing address?

• If you can log in to your delta.com, you can update your primary email address or primary mailing address from your profile > basic information.

• If you are unable to log in to your delta.com, you will need a copy of your ID (license, passport, etc.) to update your primary email or postal address. Follow the instructions on the identity verification form to submit the documents and regain access to your account.
