How do I change or cancel my flight booking?
You can change your travel date or destination, or refund the unused value of your ticket to the original online payment method. Click here to change your booking. If your ticket cannot be changed online, they recommend that you contact the nearest Qatar Airways office. Flight reservations to and from the United States can be held for 24 hours without payment. Once payment has been received and ticketed, standard fare rules will apply.
Do I need to pay for changing bookings?
After the reservation is made, a change penalty may be charged according to the original fare rules. In addition to the change penalty, if the original purchased fare is not applicable to the new flight, the applicable fare difference will be charged.
Can I pay for my ticket with an online travel voucher?
Yes. You can redeem your travel voucher when you book your flight on qatarairways.com. The voucher value will be deducted from the total amount paid. You can also use it for bookings where the voucher value is higher than the ticket price. In the future, you can also redeem your voucher for any fees charged when changing an existing booking.
I purchased a Qatar Airways ticket through a travel agent but found a lower fare elsewhere?
To qualify for a Best Price Guarantee claim, you must first purchase a ticket on qatarairways.com. Please note that the Best Price Guarantee only applies to certain countries. A list of participating countries and eligibility criteria and associated terms and conditions can be viewed on their website.
Are there any child charges for paid transit accommodation services?
No, if you are eligible for paid transit accommodation then all passengers (including children 02-12 years old) will be charged a flat fee, only infants will be exempted from hotel accommodation fees.
Where can members submit requests if travel plans change?
Award tickets are subject to change and cancellation after logging into the member account portal. Beyond Business award tickets cannot be changed or cancelled by Qatar Airways sales offices, contact centres or travel agents.
