What will happen to my domain if I get a refund?

Your satisfaction is their top priority and they are confident that you will be happy with their service. However, if you try them and determine that iPage is not for you, they believe you should get your money back. If you register a domain name through iPage, please note that there is a $15 non-refundable domain fee. This fee not only covers their own costs, but ensures that you will not lose your domain name even if you are not happy with your iPage experience. You are free to transfer it or simply point it elsewhere.

How do I change the FTP user password?

When creating a new account, their system generates a default FTP user name. To use FTP, you need to activate it and create a password. Please follow the steps below to create or update the FTP user password:

• Log in to your account Hosting Summary.

• Click File Manager in the left panel.

• Under FTP Accounts, click the three-dot option menu. 

• Then, click Edit User.

• Match the password criteria and click Edit User.

• A confirmation pop-up window will appear in the lower right corner.

How does the referral program work?

• Your friend signs up for a new iPage web hosting plan.

• During registration, your friend must indicate the domain name or username of your iPage Web Hosting account by entering it in the "Refer Your Friend or Website" field on the online registration form or, if registering by phone, by mentioning a member of the iPage Help Center. Please note: If your friend does not see the "Refer Your Friend or Website" field during registration, it will be available the first time your friend logs into a new account.

• For each new referral, they will credit your account with $35.00.

• This credit will be applied to your next purchase. Eligible purchases may include domain credits, upgrades, products, setup fees, and of course the renewal of your iPage account. If you purchase an item for less than the equivalent of $35.00, they will continue to apply your remaining credit to subsequent purchases until the full credit has been applied.
