What can I learn about the orders?

• All orders include instructions to keep out of direct sunlight and mailboxes. The bacteria in Homebiotic are very resilient, and can withstand periods of temperature extremes, including several hours at up to 140°F, as well as a limited number of freeze/thaw cycles. 

• Homebiotic should not intentionally be exposed to either very high or very low temperatures, so should not be stored in a vehicle or uninsulated space.

Can I enjoy free shipping?

• Shipping costs and options vary depending on where you live. The shipping calculator works with multiple shipping options to try to find the most reasonable options available to your region. 

• If you live outside of North America, get in touch through their contact form- A distributor may be available close to you.

What will happen if my item is damaged?

• If your order arrived with damaged packaging, please take the following steps: Take a photograph of the damaged shipping packaging, so they can investigate whether a packaging error occurred or if it was damaged in transit.

• Carefully open the shipping packaging, and inspect the product(s) inside. If the product(s) enclosed are damaged beyond use, please use the form below to request a replacement. Please provide them with as much detail as possible so they can file a lost package claim on your behalf.

How do I clean the mold?

• If you have a small amount of mold visible, they recommend cleaning with a natural product such as either hydrogen peroxide OR vinegar. 

• They can be used one after the other if desired, but should not be mixed in the same container. Apply with a spray bottle, and wipe with a paper towel or other disposable cloth. 

What can I learn about the payment methods and refund policy?

• Wholesale orders can be paid with ACH/Bank Transfers or PayPal. When Bank Transfer is selected, an invoice will be generated with payment instructions. 

• Wholesale orders of Mini Cases and up to 3 Cases must be paid in full upon invoicing. Wholesale orders of 4+ Cases will require a 60% deposit, with the balance payable prior to shipment. 

• As with retail orders, Homebiotic will replace any products found to be damaged upon delivery, and can accept returns for other reasons within 30 days of shipment provided the product is still in re-salable form. 

• A minimum 20% re-stocking fee will apply to returns. No returns or refunds are possible after 30 days of shipment, or if the product is no longer in re-salable condition, to be determined on a case-by-case basis. Any returns must be approved before products are shipped back.
