How do I change my display name?

• Your account was created using a credit card that is not yours; ie. parent, spouse, etc. If you are under the age of majority in your legal jurisdiction (which is age 18 years old) you will need to provide parental consent. 

• You would like to add or remove your middle name.

• Your name is misspelled or characters are not displaying correctly.

• You would like to use a different version of your first name for example Joe instead of Joseph.

• You would like to change your name for confidentiality or privacy reasons.

• Your name has legally changed. 

Can I use one credit card to sign up multiple family members?

Yes. They will have their own unique login and password. Additional accounts will be sub accounts under the credit card holder.  However, the driver's display name will be the credit card holder's name. You will need to contact iRacing Support and request that the sub account holder's display name be changed to the name of the sub account holder. Additional cars and tracks will also need to be purchased on this account if desired.

How to use iRacing credits or dollars?

• Are you unable to apply iRacing dollars/credits to a purchase? If so, you may have your preferences set to not allow the use of iRacing credits or dollars towards your content or subscription. 

• You can turn this option on by going to your account on members.iracing.com and scroll down to preferences. You will see the option below. If you want to use the iRacing credits/dollars towards your purchases, make sure it's checked and click Save.  If you have it on and would like it off, you can uncheck the box here and click Save.

Is iRacing Support on Twitter?

Yes, you can follow them @iRacingSupport for announcements, updates, and information - but this is not a place to troubleshoot any technical issues. That is best to submit a ticket or email [email protected].

Can I install iRacing on my Mac?

• iRacing can only run on the Windows operating system (OS) 8.1 and 10.

• iRacing can not run on the Mac operating system.

• You can install Boot Camp on your Mac OS that you would then install Windows OS onto.

How do I use Venmo?

To use Venmo, please download the Venmo App on your phone, or if you already have it, make sure it’s up to date to the latest Venmo version. If it’s not up to date, it could cause an error during purchase when scanning our QR code.

Will Venmo use my Venmo balance?

When using Venmo, it will always pull from your Venmo balance first. If your Venmo balance does not cover the entire cost of your purchase, you will then be able to select how you’d like to pay the balance of your purchase within your Venmo app.
