What is CBD?

• CBD or Cannabidiol, is a safe, non-intoxicating, primary cannabinoid, found in the floral material of the hemp plant.

• Originally patented by the United States Government as an antioxidant and neuroprotectant, CBD binds to endocannabinoid receptors throughout your body. These receptors are part of the body's endocannabinoid system or ECS. This system naturally produces endogenous cannabinoids that are chemically similar to CBD and other plant-based cannabinoids.

Is Hemp Legal?

Yes, hemp is legal to possess in all 50 states.

• The 2018 Farm Bill officially removed hemp from the Controlled Substances Act and placed the crop under the Agricultural Marketing Act. The crop is now viewed as an agricultural commodity as long as the delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol [∆-9-THC] concentration is not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.

How much should I be taking? 

• Depending on which bottle you order, the concentration of cannabinoids and CBD can vary.

• For topicals, the duration is short term so you must reapply more often. Apply to localized areas, close to the surface of the skin for optimal support. Think joints!For capsules, start with 1 capsule, then increase slowly until you find your desired effect.

• For their tinctures/oils, they have a selection of 250mg, 500mg and 1500mg. Start with a 250mg or 500mg to determine your serving size, then settle on the 1500mg for the best bang for your buck!

• For best results, they recommend starting with a small amount (between 5 to 15mg per serving and titrating (or slowly increasing) from there until you fine your desired effect.

• For pets, start with 1mg per 10lbs weight.

• No matter what, any orally consumed product should be taken with a high fat snack.

How do I Administer CBD and Cannabinoids?

• They always recommend taking the product after a meal or a high fat snack for optimal absorption.

• For capsules take with a glass of water and swallow like your multi-vitamin. Overcome Every Night should be taken 30 minutes to 1 hour before bedtime.

• For oils/tinctures drop recommended serving in mouth and then swallow. You are welcome to drink water afterwards if you'd like.

• For topicals apply directly to affected area. The lifespan on topicals is short so you may need to reapply often. It is best to use on areas close to the surface of the skin, like your joints and along your spine.

• For their pet line, they recommend dropping the CBD onto one of your pet's favorite treats or food bowl. Otherwise it can be placed directly onto their tongue.
