Do I need to buy a new phone?
The easiest way to check if your phone needs an upgrade or not is to run your phone IMEI number on their Bring Your Own Device page.
If you receive the message "Awesome! Your phone wants to join Tello!", then as long as you can find and enable the VoLTE option in your phone settings, your device is VoLTE-capable and should have no issues after June 30th.
If you receive the message “Oops! Your phone is not compatible with their GSM network.”, then you will need to acquire a new 4G phone VoLTE-compatible phone.
If you do need to buy a new phone, the best way to verify VoLTE-compatibility is by checking the technical specifications of the phone provided by the phone seller.
Do all 4G phones support VoLTE?
No, some some older 4G phones lack the VoLTE capability to make it usable after June 30th.
If you have an older phone, a quick Google search will tell you whether it supports VoLTE or not.
Does VoLTE use data?
No. VoLTE uses the LTE network and is under the same VoIP technology but does not use mobile data at all.
This is because all the traffic is recognized as voice traffic, so it uses a different routing process than normal data consumption.
So yes! You can still make VoLTE calls with the data switched off this means no extra charges for you!

How can I tell how much tax I will pay ?
