Do I need to pay for taxes and duties for international orders?

• Yes. International orders are subject to duties, customs, and value added taxes that aren't reflected in their prices. 

• The recipient will be responsible for paying these charges upon receipt of your order, at full price, including free gifts with purchase, buy one get one free items, and discounted pricing. 

• They are required by law to disclose full value of the package contents and cannot alter this value. 

• Check with your local customs office for those charges. Some countries may be assessed an additional handling fee for brokering these payments prior to delivery within that country.

What is the shipping policy for oversize items?

• Due to freight costs, oversized items ship within the United States and Puerto Rico only.  

• Each oversized item shipped has a $14.95 surcharge.   

• This includes rolling luggage and luggage handles such as Co-Pilot Roller, Quest Duffel, the Never Check Spinner, and replacment handles. 

• UPS considers the volume of these as oversized.

Does Timbuk2 require sales tax?

• They don't calculate or collect sales tax in states where they do not have business operations. 

• Each state maintains different tax rules, regulations and laws. 

• You may be required to report online purchases and the payment of use tax on those purchases in states they don’t collect sales tax. 

• Please check your state’s tax entity for local requirements. All orders for Gift Card and eGift Card are exempt from sales tax.

What if I received the wrong or defective items?

• If you received the wrong product in your Timbuk2.com shipment or missed something in your order, please contact them. 

• To expedite resolution, please indicate your order number and any items that were shipped incorrectly or lost in your order. 

• They will process the replacement shipment and provide return instructions if applicable as soon as possible.

• If your bag arrived defective, but you bought it from another retailer, ask the retailer who sold it.

What is covered by the warranty?

• Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship are covered, notwithstanding age. 

• If there is a defect in the materials or workmanship they will repair the bag at their discretion.
