What is their return policy?

If the textbook is returned with the original receipt within the first week of class, they will be refunded in full for your original method of payment. A full refund will be made in the original form of payment 30 days prior to the class by providing proof of course changes and the original receipt. If the item is returned within 14 days of purchase with the original receipt in the original packaging, they will issue a full refund in the form of your original payment. A full refund will be issued for your original method of payment along with the original receipt. If a receipt is not available, a store credit will be issued at the current selling price.

How do I pay for textbook rentals?

Most of the payment methods currently accepted by the bookstore can also be used for rentals. They do require that a credit card be on file, even if you pay by a different method. Why? In case you win the lottery and forget to return your books, they will need to charge you (see the Fees section).

Can I get a refund if I don't drop the course?

Yes! The same return policy applies to rented textbooks as to purchased textbooks. This assumes, of course, that you have a receipt and return the textbook in good condition, along with any components (such as CDs, etc.) that came with the textbook when you rented it. If you return a book by mail, it must be postmarked within the refund period allowed by the bookstore.

What if I forget when my rental is due?

As a courtesy, they will send you a reminder notice to the email address provided at the rental checkout and on the rental agreement. However, even if you do not receive this email, it is your responsibility to return the book by the deadline. Please remember that rental books should be returned on the last day of the finals - or must be postmarked by the last day of the finals.
