What is their return policy?
All returns must be returned via the original mode of transportation the order arrived in.
Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of receipt of goods.
Please ship with the carrier that provides the tracking number and ask for insurance to ensure safe return.
For free shipping, outbound shipping will be deducted from your final refund.
The customer is responsible for shipping the items and any charges/ costs associated with the returned items.
If the order is cancelled after shipment or processing, the customer is liable for round-trip shipping even if 2modern paid for the original shipment.
What if the goods are defective?
If the item you received has been damaged in transit, please contact 2modern customer service at (888) 222-4410 immediately.
Be sure to check all packages for damage before signing them.
For hidden damage at the time of delivery, immediately take photos of the damaged item and its arrival package.
If the item sent is incorrect or defective, please contact 2modern Customer Service by phone or email immediately. Please do not return these items until contacted.
If you receive a damaged product that can be remedied by a replacement part and choose to return the item rather than accept the replacement part, the order amount will be refunded minus any outstanding shipping charges.
How do they deliver large items in their shipping policy?
Certain items offered on 2Modern need to be transported by third party "freight" carriers because they are too heavy.
If the product you purchased will be delivered through a third party service, the shipping company will contact you by phone 1-5 days prior to delivery and you need to be present to sign the item.
Unless otherwise stated on your order, all large order deliveries via third party carriers are only taken to the curb.
Please specify any special delivery instructions in the special Instructions area at checkout. If there are special shipping/ delivery situations, some delivery companies may charge more.
Please note that buyers who wish to return incorrectly shipped or damaged items will be responsible for all third party delivery and return shipping costs.
