If my purchase doesn't work for me, can I return or exchange it?

Yes, you can. At Historical Emporium, they are proud of the products they offer and want you to be completely satisfied with their quality and service. Their return policy is simple: if you're not satisfied, you can return any product in brand new condition (including special order items) within 30 days for a full refund or exchange, excluding shipping. If the return or exchange is due to their fault (shipping error, defective item, etc.), please contact them and they will arrange shipping for you free of charge. Their 30-day return policy was extended over the Christmas break to allow early holiday gift purchases.

What is their shipping policy?

Alaska, Hawaii and Military Post Office orders are not eligible for expedited service and additional shipping charges may apply for shipping to multiple addresses or for heavy or bulky items. They usually ship orders via the US Postal Service (Priority or Express Mail) or UPS (Ground or 2 Air). For countries outside the US, they offer two international shipping methods, Saver and Express. They will give you a USPS tracking number so you can track your package. Please make sure your email address is correct so they can send order and shipping confirmations.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Their parent company, Historical Emporium, is a California company, so any shipments to California addresses will be subject to California sales tax. Orders shipped to addresses outside of California may be subject to sales tax, depending on your state's laws and whether they are financially connected. Even if they don't charge you sales tax, you may still owe use tax on your purchases.

I am giving this as a gift. Do they include invoices with pricing in their shipments?

They don't include pricing information in shipments unless you request it. The order will include a packing slip showing all the items in the shipment, but not the price. The exception is for international orders, where customs services require a full commercial invoice with pricing information.
