It says my SKYPASS account is inactive. What is an inactive account?
SKYPASS accounts with no record of mileage accrual or redemption within the last five years will become inactive and be handled differently as such. Inactive accounts are not eligible to use mileage for award tickets, Cash and Miles, etc.
- Except for mileage use, there are no restrictions on the use of other Korean Air services such as flight search, reservation, purchase, and boarding. Mileage can still accrue in inactive accounts, which automatically reactivate upon accruing mileage from flights or partners.
- To use your mileage, please log in to the Korean Air website and reactivate your account at [ My > Mileage > Mileage Overview ] then select [Reactivate] before proceeding with verification. You can also reactivate your account by completing the verification procedure at a Korean Air branch office or SKYPASS counter at the airport.
