What are the specific requirements for Challenge Scholarship?

• This scholarship is given to NSCA Members seeking either an undergraduate or graduate degree in a strength and conditioning-related field. Awards in the amount of $2,000 are granted and are to be applied toward tuition charges accrued by the student.

• Specific Requirements:

• Completed Application.

• Current membership at the time of application.

• 3 letters of recommendation.

• Transcripts from each school attended.

• The pursuant degree is in a strength and conditioning field.

• The applicant has not won this award twice previously.

• Is not a current member of the NSCA Foundation Board of Directors, Scholarship Committee, serve as a Scholarship Reviewer, NSCA Board of Directors, NSCA/NSCA Foundation affiliate employee or employee's family member.

• The NSCA Foundation provides many dollars a year in research grants to prominent individuals in power and restricted societies.

• Further enhance your research, education, and career with support from the NSCA Foundation.

• Allocations are partly funded by gross national income. The following documents are required to apply for research funding: cover letter, proposal structure (rationale, specific objectives, experimental design and methodology, bibliography), itemized budget and rationale for the budget, and available resources.

• Your offer may not include a salary. This includes outsourced technical support (nurses, technicians, coaches, trainers, etc.) and where appropriate you can apply for the same funding in multiple categories.
