How to store my blade?
Before storing your blade it should be cleaned well. A few drops of oil should be placed on the surface teeth and between the sliding surfaces, and then turn the clipper or trimmer on for a few seconds.
Blades should be stored in a place protected from high humidity and moisture to prevent rust.
It is best to use the blade protector or to wrap the blades before placing the clipper inside a drawer with other implements.
How to remove the blade from my detachable blade clipper?
With the clipper facing you, place the pad of your thumb on the blade and swiftly push the top of the blade away from the clipper.
This will make the blade '"tongue" or "blade assembly" open and you can slide the blade off. off the "tongue" and replace the new blade on the "tongue".
With the "tongue" open, turn clipper on and then push the blade towards the clipper (shut), this will ensure the proper engagement of the blade on the driving tip.

How can I grease my clipper?
Only clippers with a universal motor require greasing - for example, the Classic 76, Model 10 or Turbo 111. In order to grease the clipper, remove the front cover plate (nameplate) to access to the gear box.
This will allow you to determine if the clipper needs to be greased. If clipper does need grease, use about 1/2 teaspoon.
Fill the gear box with the grease. Make sure the grease covers the gears.
Most of their products come packed with a grease tube. If you do not have one, take a look at their Where to Buy page to find available retailers.
How to clean my blade?
A brush is included with most clippers. If your clipper did not come with a brush or if you no longer have the brush, a toothbrush can be used to brush the hair out from between the teeth of the blade.
Oster® Kool Lube or Oster® Blade Wash may also be used. Please note that even though these do contain oil, they are not sufficient for keeping your blade oiled. Blades should be oiled often during use.
