Can I return my Soma product?

Yes.To take advantage of their warranty, please send a photo of your affected product to [email protected] and their Customer Service team will review on a case-by-case basis.

Can I get my money back instead of a new product?

This transaction is an exchange of goods, money will not be refunded. Proof of purchase may be required.

What if the product is no longer available?

If the item you are requesting is no longer in production, a similar product will be provided.

How many times can I claim the warranty?

As many as needed! Lifetime warranty covers all drops, oopsies and accidents which can occur to your Soma products.

Do I have to pay for shipping to return a product?

Nope! You are not required to send the product back, but in some cases, they may request to see a proof of purchase.

What does lifetime warranty cover?

Their warranty covers all of their pitchers, straws, to-go products and water bottles. The warranty does not cover filters as those have a recommended use of three months.

How can I claim on the warranty?

What does the Soma filter out?

• Clean water is at the heart of their mission here at Soma, both for their customers and for those around the world.

• Their new and improved filter is tested and certified against NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for the reduction of mercury, cadmium, and copper, and Standard 42 for the reduction of chlorine taste and odor and zinc.

Is it normal for black water to come out of my filter?

With their new V2 filters, you may notice a little black water coming out of your reservoir during the first few fills. This is the result of carbon dust, which is a natural component of their filter. They understand that it might look alarming, but this should clear up after about 5 fills of your reservoir.

What should I do if I'm experiencing slow filtration?

• Slow filtration is very likely just the result of some air getting stuck in the filter and can be resolved through simple troubleshooting:

• Soak your filter on its side in water for 15 minutes.

• Give the filter a few gentle squeezes while it is soaking to release any trapped air bubbles.

• Fill your Soma with the lid removed.

• Removing the lid and filling the reservoir directly over the filter should improve filtration speed. Once you have filled your Soma (about 2 reservoirs full), simply place the lid back on.

• How long unused do the filters last for?

• They recommend using your filters once you receive them however the filters can last for up to four months in their packaging. They recommend using a new filter every two months.

Why are these black spots on my filters?

Charcol is included in all Soma filters to naturally filter the water. At times the charcol can bleed out in the packaging for the filter, the small black dots are compeltely safe and is the charcol in the filter. The filter is still safe to use and will be effective.
