What is return policy?

• Please request authorization to make a return within 14 days of receiving your package by sending an email to [email protected]. Please provide your order number and the item that you would like to return. Their returns team can approve your return and provide you with a pre-paid return-shipping label. (Note: For all domestic orders, returns will be FREE. For Canadian orders, a flat rate of $30 will be deducted from your total refund. For the other countries that they ship to: All orders are FINAL SALE.)

• You will receive an email once your return has been processed. Please allow 5 business days from the time we receive your return for it to be processed. The refund will be processed in the original form of payment. Please allow up to 1 billing cycle for the credit to post to your account. Original shipping charges and any shipping taxes are non-refundable. 

• ectu reserves the right to deny refunds or charge a restocking fee of 20% for a returned item that does not comply with this policy.

Does ectu offer exchanges after purchase?

ectu does not currently offer exchanges on merchandise purchased on their website. If you are looking for a different color of an item already purchased, you can simply return the item in your possession and place a new order for the desired item.

What type of leather is used to create an ectu bag?

All of the ectu weekender bags are crafted from full grain, luxury Italian calfskin leather. Full grain leather is considered the highest grade of leather because it comes from the strongest and the most aesthetically pleasing part of the hide. All of their leather is treated for durability to maintain a pleasing aesthetic while protecting against scratches incurred from daily use.

How should I care for my ectu bag?

While ectu bags are durable, it's important to keep them away from heat. As well, the full grain Italian calfskin is impressionable to oil-based substances. Although they treat the leather with a protective coating, it's important to quickly wipe away any dirt or spills with a damp cloth and allow the leather bag to dry naturally. Finally, every ectu bag is packaged in a beautiful cloth bag to keep the bag dust-free when not in use.
