What is the correct way to put the collar on my dog?

To ensure effective training and the safety of your dog, you must fit the collar properly on your dog. The collar must fit snugly so that the "contact point" is in direct contact with the skin. Place the receiver unit high on the dog's neck, just below the ear. You should be able to place two fingers between the collar and your dog's skin. Too tight and you run the risk of skin irritation and discomfort. Too loose and the contact point cannot reliably apply stimulation and can cause skin irritation due to abrasion. Cover the contact point with a conductive rubber cap to reduce the risk of skin irritation or injury. Note: The e-collar is not designed to be worn regularly. They recommend that the e-collar be used only under adult supervision for no more than 4 hours per day. Do not attach a leash to the e-collar.

What level of stimulation is best for my dog?

Every dog has a different level of recognition. Even a slight change in your dog's behavior, such as looking around curiously, scratching his collar or flicking his ears, is an indication that they are sensing stimulation. How to determine the optimal level for your dog: If your dog does not respond visibly (e.g. ear or head twitches), then the level you are giving is not enough. Increase the level by 1 and send the stimulus. Repeat until the dog responds.
