How can I track my delivery?

• When you purchase on David Jones online you’ll receive an email with a tracking number. You can use this tracking number to track your order. You can also view the delivery status of your order in your Online Account. Some products are shipped directly from their suppliers and may not have a tracking number.

• If you purchase more than one item with us these may be shipped out from different locations. In this instance you will receive separate emails with tracking numbers for each shipment. Please see their Delivery Information for more information.

Do deliveries require a signature?

• To ensure the security of your order a signature is required when a delivery is made unless you have selected Unattended Delivery. 

• Orders delivered via Sydney Same Day/Evening/Saturday and Sunday are ineligible for Unattended Delivery. 

• Risk and title in the goods passes to the recipient upon delivery of the goods to your nominated Delivery Address if unattended delivery is selected. 

How much does Davidjones charge for delivery?

• If you’re paying for your order using your David Jones American Express Card, David Jones American Express Platinum Card or David Jones Storecard their Standard Delivery is complimentary.

Can I exchange or refund an item that was purchased online?

• Yes. The easiest and fastest way to exchange an item purchased on David Jones online is to return the item with your proof of purchase to your nearest David Jones store. 

• If you can’t reach a David Jones store you can return your item by completing the return slip on your Proof of Purchase included in your delivery and return it to our Fulfilment Centre at

• Please note that fragrance and other flammable goods cannot be returned by Australia Post. These items can be returned in store.

Can I get my purchased gift wrapped from Davidjones?

• Yes. They offer a complimentary gift wrapping service for purchases made with a David Jones American Express Card, David Jones American Express Platinum Card or David Jones Storecard. For purchases made with other forms of payment the charge is $9.95 per gift wrapped item.

• You can select to have your purchases wrapped individually or as a bundled item in once package. 

• Where items are shipped directly from the manufacturerand you have chosen to have your items gift wrapped, they will be wrapped separately at no additional cost.
